Let the Wookie win!

   I know it has been awhile. Some of the time has been spent on the new painting and I am practicing my drum playing. Not that that is an excuse... well, I guess it is,...  but what ever.

   This was another conference call quick drawing I came back to and colored in the computer. You should always let the Wookie win, especially when he has a spear!

   I worked an open to close yesterday and came home very tired. Before bed I wanted to pop something out quick with the new brush tip pen experiment. Still not sure what to think. I spent way more time coloring this morning then I did on the fast pencils and ink last night.

   I am going to get in front of my easel again today too. I will post a picture soon when there is a little more paint on the board.

   This is me trying a new brush tip pen. You have to be less controlled and more free flowing with this kinda inking. Not sure if I like it. I did this as much for Emma as I did for me trying to find a style.

   I was also able to do a little painting on the new piece in the garage slash art studio. It is a view of the front of my building in splatter dot style. Pictures are coming soon...

Retail VS. Zombies

   Inventory is OVER! My numbers look good and I can feel my stress levels lowering. Now, I have the mandatory manager meeting to run on Thursday and I might be back to my normal self.

   I will be decompressing tomorrow and Emma permitting I am going to start on my next painting tonight...wait what comes on T.V. tonight? Stop, we have the DVR now... brains... I mean paint.

Crack Hazard Calling

   This is a inch and a half conference call doodle I did of an original character, Crack Hazard. He was created in high school by myself and close friend Mark Goodson. I always wanted to do something with this guy. This is a more cartoony version but if I ever force myself to do a full comic it will be this or my robot Error.

   I am on way way back to work to finalize some things and then I have to be there tomorrow morning at 4:30 a.m. Ugh! Inventory is sooo much fun.

Pet Monster

   Today was a weird day. Spent the whole morning at work getting ready for inventory (day off), came home and mowed the lawn and then BOOM! The wind blew the gate closed, the alarm was set and went off with me wearing my ear buds. Rachel called, the cops where on the way and I made it in the house in time to get the cops called off and turn the alarm down. I took a quick shower and went to get Emma from day care. We drove to see Mommy and then had Happy Meal Time. Afterward we had a short tea party followed by a sand box event. Momma soon came home and she let me go inside and draw. I decided that Emma needed a little monster pet and this is what came out. His name is Eddie. He likes to eat paper and keeps spilling my wine.

Time found

   We went to the mall together to look at phones. I get my bonus tomorrow and I am going to get a iphone4... so happy. Gonna pay off a lot of bills too. Maybe a tattoo.
    I closed last night and came home to sleepy house. I was able to ink and then colored this afternoon.

Crazy Busy

   I have been really busy at work and with family matters. This has been on my drawing desk for awhile now. I was hoping to have it done sooner, but with inventory coming up soon I will be spending more time at work and through my weekend off.  I still wanted to get something up and communicate that I didn't stop drawing again. Spawn will be posted later fully inked and colored... I hope.
