Witch Card

This Witchblade is for Bryca. She not only rocks the replenishment team, but is our ad captain as well. She is a great team player and this card is a long time coming.

Thanks Bryca!

Hello Card

I know it's been awhile, but this one is for Leslie. She does a great job at the frame counter! I really appreciate all her hard work.

I have had a little personal set backs, but I will try to get back to the drawing table more.

See you again soon.

Bat-Card

Desiree asked for Bat-Man. This will be the last card for a little while. I ran out of requests until I get back to work on Monday.

For anyone new, this is a employee appreciation project. These are 2.5"X3.5" art cards we sell at work. The associate gets the original black and white drawing and then a digital copy of the color one.

Thanks for all of you hard work Desiree... and I will see you next Bat-Time next Bat-Blog.

Dex-Card

James asked for Dex-Star. A Red Lantern from the Green Lantern comics. This one will probably be really weird to you if you are not familiar with the origin source. Kind of a gross cute picture for yet another rainy vacation day.

Thanks for all your hard work James!!!

Gambit Card Card

Erin asked for Gambit from the X-Men. This is a fun little drawing. My style really comes out in this one.

Thanks for all you work Erin!

Tinker Card

Sharissa asked for Tinker Bell. Emma was watching me the whole time coloring this one. Now I am gonna have to draw another one of these for her. She loved it. I hope you to do Sharissa... Thanks!

So far Spring Break has been an underwater adventure with all this rain.

Bride of the Card

Jessica asked for this Bride of Frankenstein. I liked how this one turned out. I went a little over the top and had fun with the big lips and stitches. We are going to brave the rain and hit the mall, so not sure if I be be adding any more cards today.

Thanks Jessica!

Have a great spring break.

Penguin Card

Megan asked for a fluffy baby penguin. Her and Alicia both couldn't come up with a character so this is just a cute generic piece. Emma said "Awww, baby bird, Daddy!" when she saw me coloring it.

   Thanks Megan!

Despicable Card

Alyssa requested this card. A minion from Despicable Me. I have not seen this movie, but I keep planning to. I like these weird little characters I had to research.

   Thanks Alyssa!!!

To reiterate this is an employee appreciation project. These are all on 2.5"X3.5" drawing cards we sell at work. The associate gets the original black and white and then they get a digital copy of the color. As all my color work is in the computer.

Night Card

Jamie went back and forth asking for Jean Grey and Nightcrawler.  The swashbuckler won. This is a fun little version of him BAMFing. I played around with the BAMF cloud for awhile until I found something fun enough.

Thanks for all your hard work Jamie!

Panda Card

Alicia couldn't pick a character, so she went with a Panda. I went a little cute with it, but hopefully she will love it. I know Emma will when I pick her up from school today.

Wyle E. Cardote

Maddy asked for Wyle E. Coyote for her associate thank you card. I thought this one was gonna be easy, but he has an odd design. I wanted to make sure to get the character so I went more with classic design than making it more my style.

This list of characters is adding up, and some real fun ones will coming soon. Keep your eyes posted, I'm gonna try to get at least one done a day.... try.

See previous posts for details on project. Thanks for all your hard work Ryan!

Vampirella Card

Denise asked for this Vampirella. So far this one has taken the longest because it is hard to draw detail this small. They are scanned at 600 dpi so you can look at them bigger and not bitmap on you.

I have been getting more requests through the weekend, and I am really looking forward to some of them. I hope all my associates enjoy.... and this one is for you D.

Splinter Card

This one is for Kenny. Splinter from TMNT. I was wanting to do something a little dark for Kenny but still keep my light hearted style. I really like how this one turned out.

Again these are 2.5"X3.5" artist cards inked and colored in the computer. Kenny will get the original black and white as employee appreciation. Hopefully this is something my staff even wants. I have had a really good response so far.

I have to take Logan home in a bit so this might be the only post today. Have a good one.

Hong Card Fuey

Hong Kong Fuey was requested by Evonne. He is the number one secret guy and the third installment of this project. The background might be a little tight looking unless viewed larger. All of these 2.5"X3.5" cards are drawn in ink and scanned into the computer and colored with my pentablet. More cards to come soon! My wrist is hurting too much to draw any more tonight.

Lady Death Card

The second drawing in the employee appreciation card drawing project.

This Lady Death was requested by Cat. I'm not as good at drawing women as I am male characters. That being said, I will probably get a lot of female requests since almost all of my staff is women.

Howl's Moving Card

For employee appreciation I asked everyone at work to pick a character and I am going to do a artist card for them. These are 2.5" X 3.5" cards. The associate will get the black and white drawing card and I will post the color images here for all to see. This image is for Regan from Howl's Moving Castle. All the Cutler's in this house love this movie too!
