Red Hulk SMASH

   For those of you not familiar with new comic lore... Yes, Virginia there is a Red Hulk.  He is a major Marvel character and actually a new member of the Avengers. What I have read of the character is not a lot but I liked every thing I did read. This is my version busting through the fourth wall.

   Very good day for the Cutlers! All I have to say is great things happen to those who work hard. I just wish it didn't take 8 years. 

Monopoly, B-Word!

   Long day at work... seriously! At least I was able to come home to a sleepy family and be a free range chicken. I watched Rupaul's Drag Race on the new DVR and enjoyed some red wine while drawing. I find out how well I did on my review on Thursday. Hopefully I WILL pass GO and collect a lot more than $200!

Make it so!

   I have both kids today and Rachel works until 8. Emma and I are going to go to the grocery store while Logan sleeps. I don't have any other plans and it is a rainy day. We will probably just hang around and have tea parties and dance time... I don't know what Emma and I will do.

Mars Attacks!

   Very long two days. I worked basically a open to close between two stores. I was able to work a quick sketch in between the crazy work load yesterday. I did quick inks this morning and colors tonight after I got home around 9:45. I'm thinking about using a brush to ink instead of my Microns. I'd like to see a little more looseness to the finishes but its hard to change.

   It's 11:00 and Emma keeps getting out of bed with excuse after excuse to be awake. I just keep walking her back and then trying to get back to my colors. She didn't like this one and wants me to do a drawing for her of her school. We shall see.

Family Man

 The first color panel for Married...with comics. I probably won't post all of them, but I just wanted to show you the first. I have had a long week but I came up with some good ideas for future character designs. Among others "Mars Attacks!" sounds like fun.

   We had Chinese food tonight after Rachel got home and I take Logan back to his Mom's tomorrow. Pretty uneventful Spring break really. Wish you were here, Jack.

MARRIED... with comics PAGE

   My scanner is too small to get a whole page in, so I will have to scan each panel to color. Just a fun comic page for our joint project coming soon to a blog near you. Rachel has already done a lot of work on it. This was a two day drawing job for me and I really enjoyed it!

   Today is my last supplemental vacation day and I have to hit it hard at work this weekend and next week. It's audit season and I have inventory in less than a month.

MARRIED... with comics

   This is for a blog I am going to do with my wife... Married With Comics. It is basically our view of raising kids in a comic book nerd house. The big conflict being her D.C. universe vs. my Marvel. Logan is on my side and Emma is stuck in the middle.

Hawkeye Hits the Mark.

   Long day. Woke up, turned on the coffee, wrote the schedule for work and did some other paper work on the computer. Watched House as I sketched this before going into work for my close shift. Got home about 9:30 inked and colored... Good Night.

Shocker

   Had to get back to the Spider-Man villains. The Shocker is one I had never drawn before. I had fun with this one and think I might readdress this character design. He is one of the more weird Spidey bad guys that not as many people know about. I always liked him.

   Spring break is in full swing. Rachel is at work, Emma is at daycare and Logan and I are just sitting around the living room doing nothing. Of course I have a conference call at 1:30 on my first vacation day.

Harry Potter

   Spring break is here, and I have both kids. Emma has been on me all day making this very difficult to draw and color. She choose a lot of the colors. This being my first attempt at the Potterverse. Next time I have some other ideas, but this has a few things I would keep. I hope every one has a great day... we are going to go eat some jelly beans. Literally.

The Doctor is in.

   Had to get back to the Marvel U and the Sinister Six. This one turned out o.k.  Not too sure about the sky though, I never did that effect before.

   It was a long day at work.  I was in my office more than on the floor with customers today. I like being out working on sales.

M and Me.

   First real day off in about two weeks. This was another sketch I did yesterday during conference calls. I inked and colored this morning.
   I actually have the house to myself all day until I pick Emma up later this afternoon. A little bit of drawing as you see, catching up on my comic book stack and plenty of video games. Oh, yeah, I cleaned the house too, Rachel. Not just goofing off. : )

The Joker Rules.

   I am a Marvel Zombie, but sometimes read the Distinguished Competition. I drew this during one of my two conference calls today. I inked and colored after I got home around 9:30. As soon as I walked into the door Emma ran out of bed yelling "Daddy, Daddy!" Rachel and I went back and forth with her all night and I think she is still awake in there watching Teen Titans. Her and her Mom are both D.C. freaks. Emma's boy friend is Robin.

   The color version of this turned out pretty good for a conference call doodle.Let me know if anyone has any requests for my sketch diversions.

Kraven the Hunter

Another member of the Sinister Six. I sketched this out while watching House on Hulu this morning. Rachel was out at the gym and Emma at daycare. I was able to ink and color before heading out for my close night at work.

The Vulture strikes!

1/6 of the Sinister Six. I've been doing a lot of Spidey bad guys lately. Rachel worked an earlier shift than normal so I was able to jump on the drawing table for a bit before bed.

Jack likes to draw

I don't get the chance to draw as much as I use to, but when I do this will be the place to post my mad scribblings and such. It will mostly be character designs and fun little sketches. If you are one of my Facebook followers, it will be a lot like that.
